To share videos on social media, our Standard License has you covered. However, if you're looking to amplify your reach through paid ads, you can purchase the Extended License.

I purchased a License and received a copyright claim from Soundtrack Empire on YouTube. What should I do?

You need to whitelist your YouTube channel. Send your YouTube channel ID and email address to whitelist@soundtrackempire.com so claims can be released automatically.

What does whitelisting or clearing a YouTube channel entail, and why should I do it?

YouTube scans videos for copyrighted material. Whitelisting ensures your channel is recognized and claims related to Soundtrack Empire music are automatically cleared.

How long and where is my license valid?

All licenses are valid worldwide and forever.

Does my License allow me to use your music in multiple projects?

A license is applicable to one person or company only. You may use it for your own videos, but for client projects you need a license per client or a Premium plan.

Free music requires attribution to Soundtrack Empire as the author in all projects. Example attribution: 'Music used in this project is from Soundtrack Empire (www.soundtrackempire.com), author: Bojan Randjelov.'

Am I allowed to edit, modify, or transform the music?

You may adapt music by cutting, looping, or adding voiceovers. However, creating songs, remixes, or producing your own music with our tracks is not permitted.

My payment card is not accepted, why?

We do not control the payment process. If your card is declined, try another card or use PayPal.

I purchased a license and I need my license certificate, where can I find it?

You can download the license certificate from the email provided at checkout.

Can I use your music for Facebook/Instagram/YouTube/etc.?

Yes, our Standard License covers social media use. For paid ads, you need the Extended License. However, you cannot register our music with Rights Manager services.

Can I use your music for TikTok videos?

Yes, our music can be used in TikTok videos, but due to TikTok's rules we recommend limiting usage to 60 seconds per video.

How many YouTube channels is my License valid for?

Standard License covers 1 channel, Extended License covers up to 5 channels, and Premium License covers unlimited channels.

Can I make a song or a remix with your music?

No, our music is intended for multimedia projects such as videos and web applications. Creating songs, remixes, or music production with our tracks is prohibited.
